  • 12 ounces frozen pearl onions
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Place the bacon, beef, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, and pearl onions into the slow cooker.
  2. Mix Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the red wine, beef broth, tomato paste, sugar, bouillon cube, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Add Sauce: Pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables. Stir lightly to combine.
