- 1 cup butter, (room temperature)
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups uncooked oats
- 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans, (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°
- Mix Sugars and Butter: In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and sugar together until light and flurry.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.
- Whisk Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix well.
- Add Oats, Chocolate Chips and Pecans: Stir oatmeal into cookie dough. Stir and then add chocolate chips and chopped pecans. Stir to combine.
- Portion Cookies: Using a 1 ½ cookie scoop, drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies start to brown around the edges.
- Cool: Remove from the oven and place cookies on a wire rack to cool.
