Instructions
- Preparation Steps In a large bowl, mix the warm cooked rice with rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and sugar. Stir until the rice is evenly coated and slightly sticky.
- In a separate bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili flakes. Add the shrimp and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated shrimp for about 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and caramelized. Pour in the remaining marinade and let it reduce for around 30 seconds.
- Using a ring mold or a cup lined with plastic wrap, layer the prepared rice and shrimp alternately. Carefully remove it to reveal your beautiful rice stack.
