Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Lightly grease waffle iron and pour in batter, cooking until waffles are crispy and cooked through (about 3–5 minutes depending on your iron).
