- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Garlic Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Set Up Breading Stations: Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of panko, 1 cup Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Bread Chicken: Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip it in the egg, and press into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Make Garlic Sauce: In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Finish Sauce: Add heavy cream, 1/2 cup Parmesan, and optional red pepper flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens.
- Serve: Spoon garlic sauce over chicken and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
