Ingredients

Units Scale

Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Garlic Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set Up Breading Stations: Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of panko, 1 cup Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Bread Chicken: Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip it in the egg, and press into the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  5. Make Garlic Sauce: In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  6. Finish Sauce: Add heavy cream, 1/2 cup Parmesan, and optional red pepper flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  7. Serve: Spoon garlic sauce over chicken and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Red pepper flakes are optional for a bit of heat.
  • Make sure chicken is cooked through by checking internal temperature or cutting into the thickest part.
