Description

Warm and crispy baguette boats filled with a creamy garlic cheese mixture and savory ham, baked to golden perfection—ideal for brunch, snacks, or party platters.


Ingredients

  • 2 small baguettes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cooked ham, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the tops off the baguettes lengthwise and hollow out just enough to create a trough.
  3. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, garlic, parsley, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed baguettes, spreading evenly.
  5. Top with sliced ham and lightly press into the filling.
  6. Brush melted butter over the edges of the bread and sprinkle with parmesan.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden.
  8. Garnish with extra parsley and slice into portions to serve.

Notes

  • Try adding sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions for extra flavor.

  • Use turkey or chicken instead of ham for a different protein option.
