▢ 1/4 cup mayonnaise
▢ 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

▢ Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
For Serving:
▢ Roasted potatoes or French fries (homemade or store-bought)
▢ Sliced tomatoes
▢ Romaine lettuce, chopped
Instructions
-
Make the Caramelized Onion Aioli:
-
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and a pinch of salt. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
Stir in brown sugar and continue cooking 5–10 more minutes until deep golden and jammy. Add a splash of water if needed to prevent burning.
-
Transfer onions to a bowl and mix in mayo, Greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder. Season to taste.
-
-
Cook the Burgers:
-
Divide ground beef into 5–6 equal portions and shape into patties. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Wipe out the skillet and return to medium-high heat. Sear burgers for 2–3 minutes per side until cooked to your liking.
-
-
Assemble the Bowls:
-
In serving bowls, layer chopped romaine, sliced tomatoes, and roasted potatoes or fries.
-
Top with burger patties and generous dollops of caramelized onion aioli. Serve immediately.
-
Notes
-
Add pickles, avocado, or shredded cheese for more toppings.
-
Use ground turkey for a leaner option.
-
For a fully low-carb version, skip the fries and sub with roasted cauliflower.
