Description

Decadent, ultra fudgy brownies packed with dark chocolate chunks, featuring a gooey center and a crackly top—perfect for true chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz dark chocolate (70%), chopped
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips (plus more for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (or microwave in intervals), stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk in sugars, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chunks and pour batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Sprinkle extra chunks on top and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares for clean edges and max fudginess.
