Description

This Cherry Smoothie is made with frozen sweet cherries, banana, Greek yogurt, and a splash of pineapple juice for a fruity, creamy, and refreshing drink. Packed with nutrients and easy to customize, it’s a perfect breakfast smoothie or post-workout treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (whole milk preferred, or any variety)

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1/4 cup pineapple juice (or more almond milk if needed)

Instructions

Add almond milk and pineapple juice to the base of a high-speed blender.

Add frozen cherries, frozen banana, and Greek yogurt.

Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high until smooth and creamy.

Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Top with sliced banana or your favorite toppings if desired.

Notes

Frozen banana is key for achieving that creamy smoothie texture.

No ice needed: The frozen fruits will keep it chilled and thick.

Liquid goes first: Always add liquids first to help the blender run smoothly.

Make it dairy-free: Use a dairy-free yogurt like coconut or almond-based varieties.

Sweetness tip: If needed, add a small drizzle of honey or maple syrup.

Customize with add-ins:

Protein powder – for post-workout fuel

Collagen powder – for extra protein

Ground flax seeds or chia seeds – for fiber and omega-3s

Hemp seeds – for added nutrition

Oats – for a more filling, fiber-rich smoothie
