Ingredients

Units Scale

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (finely diced)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Assembly

  • 24 wonton wrappers

Cooking

  • 3 cups neutral oil (for frying)

Serving

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Make the Filling
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
  2. Assemble the Wontons
Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Place 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, pressing firmly to seal and remove any air bubbles.
  3. Cook the Wontons
Choose your cooking method. For Frying: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. For Baking: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes. For Air Frying: Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. Serve
Remove wontons from the heat and let them drain on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
