Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  • Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden and crisp.

  • In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chickpeas, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Sauté the chickpeas for 5-7 minutes until crispy and coated in spices.
