Description

A deli classic elevated—layers of silky smoked salmon, herbed cream cheese, crisp greens, and red onion piled high on a toasted everything bagel, bursting with flavor and texture.


Ingredients

  • 6 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese (plain or herbed)

  • 1/2 cup curly leaf lettuce or arugula

  • 1 teaspoon capers (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bagel halves until golden brown.
  2. Spread cream cheese generously on the bottom half of each bagel.
  3. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion.
  4. Drape smoked salmon over the top, folding for volume and texture.
  5. Add capers if using, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Place the top half of the bagel over the filling and press gently.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
