- 1 large English cucumber, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp capers, drained
- Fresh dill sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Spread or pipe about a teaspoon of the herbed cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
- Top each with a folded piece of smoked salmon.
- Add 2–3 capers on top of the salmon for a briny pop.
- Garnish the serving platter with fresh dill sprigs for a beautiful presentation.
- Serve chilled and enjoy immediately.

- Use a piping bag for a cleaner and more elegant presentation of the cream cheese.
