- Preheat the Waffle Maker: Begin by preheating your mini waffle maker. This ensures it’s hot and ready for cooking once your ingredients are prepared.
- Prepare the Chaffle Mixture: In a small bowl, crack an egg and whip it until the yolk and white are fully combined. Add tuna, cheese, and a pinch of salt to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
- Optional Step for a Crispy Crust: For an extra crispy chaffle, sprinkle a teaspoon of cheese onto the preheated waffle maker. Allow it to cook for about 30 seconds before adding the tuna mixture. This step helps create a delicious crispy crust when the chaffle is finished.
