Description

Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies studded with rich chocolate chunks and roasted peanuts, finished with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. The perfect sweet-salty bite for cookie lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • 1/3 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chunks and roasted peanuts.
  6. Scoop dough into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  7. Lightly press each ball and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are just set.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Do not overbake; cookies will continue to set as they cool.
  • For extra flavor, toast the peanuts before chopping.
  • Use a cookie scoop for even portions.
