- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Add egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Add bananas: Mash the bananas and stir them into the wet ingredients until smooth.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Combine mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
