- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup flour

- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, applesauce, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can use dark chocolate chips instead of regular ones.
- If you prefer a denser brownie, reduce the baking time slightly.
