Ingredients
Scale
Lemonade
- 1 recipe Homemade Lemonade (or 8 cups of your favorite lemonade)
Fruit & Herbs
- 4–5 fresh peaches
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, plus more for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Lemonade: Prepare homemade lemonade according to your preferred recipe, or use 8 cups of your favorite pre-made lemonade. Once prepared, set the lemonade aside or chill it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- Prepare Peaches: Wash the fresh peaches thoroughly. Slice them, ensuring you remove the pits. Reserve about a quarter of the peach slices for adding directly to the pitcher and as garnish later.
- Blend Peach Mixture: Place the remaining peach slices into a blender along with 1 cup of the prepared lemonade and 1 tablespoon of fresh mint. Blend this mixture until smooth. For a thinner consistency, pour the blended mixture through a fine strainer or sieve back into a pitcher.
- Combine and Garnish: Add the remaining lemonade to the pitcher with the peach-mint blend and stir well to combine. Add the reserved fresh peach slices and lemon slices to the pitcher for a colorful and appealing presentation. Garnish individual glasses with fresh mint sprigs and peach slices before serving.
- Serve: Add ice cubes directly to the pitcher or pour the peach lemonade over glasses filled with ice to keep your drink chilled without watering it down too quickly.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by choosing a sweeter lemonade or adding a touch of honey or simple syrup.
- For a more intense peach flavor, use ripe and juicy peaches or slightly soften them before blending.
- If you prefer a pulp-free drink, strain the blended peach mixture thoroughly.
- This lemonade can be made a few hours in advance and kept chilled in the refrigerator.
- Mint leaves can be gently muddled before blending to release more flavor if desired.
