  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 4 lettuce leaves, halved
  • 8 green olives (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Toothpicks
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4 mini hot dogs, cut in half
  • 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
  • Mustard and ketchup
  • Fried onions (optional topping)
  • 1 sheet shortcrust pastry
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup grated cheese
  • 4 bacon strips, chopped and cooked
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 samosa wrappers
  • 1/2 cup spiced ground meat or vegetables
  • 1 tbsp flour + 2 tbsp water (sealing paste)
  • Oil for frying or baking

Instructions

  1. Mini Cheeseburgers: Cook patties in a skillet until fully done. Assemble burgers with lettuce and cheddar cheese in each bun. Garnish with an olive and secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle buns with sesame seeds if desired.
  2. Mini Puff Pastry Dogs: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut puff pastry into strips and wrap around hot dog pieces. Brush with egg yolk, drizzle mustard/ketchup, and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
  3. Mini Quiche Tartlets: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut pastry into rounds and press into mini tart molds. Whisk eggs, cream, cheese, and seasonings. Pour into molds, top with bacon, and bake for 20–25 minutes.
  4. Mini Samosas: Fill samosa wrappers with meat or veggies, fold into triangles, seal edges with paste. Fry until golden or bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes.

Notes

  • You can prepare many of these items ahead and reheat just before serving.
