Baked to golden perfection, this easy-to-make pizza offers a deliciously crispy crust and bubbling cheesy topping that’s sure to become a family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Dough

  • 1 packet Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 3 cups Plain Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

For the Topping

  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups Perfect Pizza Cheese (mozzarella and provolone blend)
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme (optional)
  • 1 pinch Salt Flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (for brushing with garlic and herbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 220°C (200°C for fan-forced) placing an oven tray inside to heat up, ensuring a crisp base.
  2. Prepare Dough: Roll out your prepared or store-bought pizza dough into a 20cm x 30cm rectangle directly on parchment paper, ready for topping.
  3. Make Garlic Herb Oil: Combine the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and olive oil in a small bowl, mixing well to create a fragrant brush-on topping.
  4. Brush Dough: Generously brush the garlic and herb olive oil mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough to infuse flavor.
  5. Add Cheese and Seasoning: Sprinkle the pizza with 2 cups of the cheese blend, add thyme if using, and a light pinch of salt flakes to taste.
  6. Bake Pizza: Carefully transfer the parchment paper with the assembled pizza onto the preheated oven tray and bake for about 20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Cool and Serve: Remove from oven and allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing to ensure easier handling and cleaner cuts.

Notes

  • Allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing to prevent cheese from sliding off.
  • Substitute parsley with fresh basil or oregano for varying herb flavors.
  • Thai or Italian seasoning can be used instead of thyme for a different herby taste.
  • Bread flour can be used in the dough for a chewier crust texture.
  • Store-bought dough can be used for convenience without compromising flavor.
