Ingredients
-
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
-
8 oz Brie cheese, sliced
-
1/2 cup toasted pecans, roughly chopped
-
1/3 cup cranberry sauce
-
1/4 cup honey, plus more for drizzling
-
1 tablespoon butter, melted
-
Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Cut the puff pastry into 6 rectangles.
-
Brush each rectangle lightly with melted butter.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool slightly.
-
Layer one pastry rectangle with a handful of chopped pecans, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, and slices of Brie.
-
Top with another piece of pastry and repeat if desired for a stacked look.
-
Warm the honey slightly and drizzle generously over the top.
-
Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs and serve warm.
Notes
-
Brie can be replaced with Camembert for a slightly different flavor.
-
Add a pinch of flaky sea salt on top to enhance the sweet-salty contrast.
-
Use fig jam or apricot preserves instead of cranberry sauce for variation.
-
Serve immediately for best melty texture and freshness.
