- 6 beef or turkey hot dogs
- 6 small flour tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise or softened butter (for grilling)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Cooking spray or oil, for grill pan
Instructions
- Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or oil.
- Spread a small amount of mayo or butter over one side of each tortilla and sprinkle lightly with garlic powder if using.
- Place a line of shredded cheese in the center of each tortilla, then top with a hot dog.
- Roll the tortilla around the hot dog tightly, cheese side inside. Place seam side down.
- Grill each tortilla dog for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until the cheese is melted and the outside is golden and crisp with grill marks.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces—ketchup, mustard, or chipotle mayo.
Notes
- Use toothpicks to secure the wrap if needed before grilling, but remember to remove them before serving.
