- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place potatoes cut-side down in the skillet. Cook without moving for 6-8 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Flip the potatoes and cook for another 5-6 minutes until tender.
- Add remaining butter and garlic. Stir to coat the potatoes and cook for 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
- Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using. Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
