Description

A refreshing summer treat made with sweet frozen watermelon and zesty lime, blended into a smooth slush and served right in mini watermelon bowls with mint for a fun and festive twist.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 12 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1/4 cup cold water (as needed for blending)
  • 2 mini watermelons, halved and scooped out
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • Lime slices, for garnish
  • Paper straws or spoons, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, and honey/agave (if using) into a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding cold water a little at a time until desired slush consistency is reached.
  3. Scoop the watermelon slush into the hollowed-out mini watermelon halves.
  4. Garnish with mint leaves and a lime slice.
  5. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon for a chilled summer delight.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness based on your watermelon’s natural flavor.
  • Freeze the scooped-out watermelon bowls briefly before filling to help the slush stay cold longer.
  • Add a splash of coconut water or rum for a twist.
