Description

A no-bake, freezer-friendly treat made from sliced bananas topped with creamy peanut butter, dipped in dark chocolate, and sprinkled with crushed nuts. These frozen banana bites are crunchy, creamy, and naturally sweet—perfect for a quick healthy dessert or post-workout snack.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced in half lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped mixed nuts (peanuts, almonds, or cashews)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice bananas in half lengthwise and place them cut-side up on the tray.
  3. Spread about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter over each banana half.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in 20-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the peanut butter-topped bananas.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly on top while the chocolate is still warm.
  7. Freeze for at least 1 hour or until solid.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the freezer and enjoy straight from frozen.

Notes

  • Use almond or cashew butter for a variation in flavor.
  • Opt for dairy-free chocolate chips to make it fully vegan.
  • Keep frozen until ready to eat for best texture.
