Description

Elegant and naturally sweet, these fresh figs are stuffed with creamy goat cheese, drizzled with golden honey, sprinkled with crushed pistachios, and finished with a sprig of thyme—perfect as a refined appetizer or light dessert.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 ripe fresh figs
  • 3 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, plus extra sprigs for garnish
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Gently wash and dry the figs. Using a paring knife, make an “X” cut on the top of each fig, stopping just before the base to keep them intact.
  2. Gently open the figs to form a flower shape.
  3. Spoon about 1/2 tablespoon of goat cheese into the center of each fig.
  4. Drizzle each stuffed fig with honey.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios, thyme leaves, and a tiny pinch of sea salt.
  6. Garnish with a fresh thyme sprig and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Best served fresh and at room temperature.
  • Use a piping bag for a neater cheese filling.
  • Swap goat cheese with blue cheese or cream cheese for variation.
  • Perfect paired with sparkling wine or a cheese platter.
