Units Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons 100% pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 ounces espresso
  • ice
  • 68 ounces milk

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients: Add 2 tablespoons 100% pure maple syrup, 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla bean paste, ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon, and ⅛ teaspoon sea salt to a heat-safe glass.
  2. Brew espresso and froth: Brew 2 ounces espresso into the glass with the syrup and use a hand frother to whip until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is pale and frothy.
  3. Prepare milk and ice: Fill a 20 or 24-ounce cup with ice and pour in 6 – 8 ounces milk (less milk if you want a stronger coffee flavor).
  4. Assemble and serve: Pour the espresso mixture over the ice and milk, and enjoy with a straw or sip if you like the foamy top.
