Ingredients

Units Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic heavy cream
  • 4 Tbsps unsalted butter
  • 46 garlic cloves, minced ((Depending on level of garlic flavor desired))
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 4 Tbsps organic all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups organic chicken or vegetable stock ((Add more if you’d like a thinner consistency))
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. TO MAKE THE SAUCE: In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter until melted. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Add the flour, salt, and Italian seasoning, whisking until combined. Slowly add in the stock, whisking until smooth and no lumps are present. Add the heavy cream and grated parmesan and continue to whisk until smooth. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. NOTE: Be sure to add more stock if you’d prefer a thinner consistency—–about 1/4 cup more at a time.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Use this delicious garlic parmesan sauce on your favorite handheld foods like fries, sweet potato fries, sandwiches, salads, as a dipping sauce, etc.
  4. Add cooled sauce/dressing to your favorite mason jar or tightly sealed container and refrigerate for 3-4 days for optimal freshness.
  5. Bon Appetit!

Notes

  • Be sure to add more stock if you’d prefer a thinner consistency—about 1/4 cup more at a time.
  • Store the cooled sauce in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate for 3-4 days for optimal freshness.
