Description

This simple Easter Candy recipe features melted chocolate wafers topped with festive mini eggs, M&M’s, and sprinkles, then chilled to a deliciously sweet treat perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Ingredients

  • 22 ounces chocolate wafers (dark or semi-sweet)
  • mini eggs (as desired)
  • M&M’s (as desired)
  • Easter sprinkles (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Line Baking Sheet: Line a 10×15 baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Melt Chocolate: Add chocolate to a medium bowl and place over a saucepan with about 2 inches of water. Bring to a low boil stirring regularly once the chocolate starts to melt.
  3. Spread Chocolate: Once the chocolate is fully melted and smooth, carefully remove the bowl from the heat (I like it place it on a kitchen towel to dry off the bottom), then carefully pour on to the parchment paper and spread evenly.
  4. Add Toppings and Chill: Sprinkle with as much candy as desired, then chill in the fridge until set, about 30 minutes.
  5. Serve: Chop or break apart and enjoy.

Notes

  • Carefully remove the bowl from the heat and place it on a kitchen towel to dry off the bottom before pouring the chocolate.
  • Chill in the fridge until set, about 30 minutes.
