Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- For the crust, pulse flour, sugar, and salt in a food processor. Add butter and pulse until crumbly. Add cold water slowly until dough comes together.
- Press the dough into a 9-inch tart pan. Chill for 15 minutes.
- Toss sliced apples with sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple filling.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
- Cool slightly and serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
