Description

Golden, crisp-edged cauliflower florets seasoned with smoky paprika, garlic, and herbs, roasted to perfection and served with a spicy dipping sauce — a bold, healthy snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (optional dipping sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  4. Spread the cauliflower evenly on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  6. While the cauliflower is roasting, stir together the dipping sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  7. Remove cauliflower from oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm with the dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Adjust chili powder to preferred heat level.
  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes of roasting.
  • Can be served as a side dish, appetizer, or healthy snack.
  • Dipping sauce can be swapped for ranch or yogurt-based dips.
