- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 egg (for sealing)
- 25–30 wonton wrappers
- Oil, for frying
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for dipping sauce)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey or sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (for dipping sauce)
- Pinch of chili flakes
- Sliced scallions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground pork, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, scallions, and white pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
- Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with beaten egg, then fold and seal tightly in a triangle or parcel shape.

- For dipping sauce, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or sugar, sesame oil, and chili flakes in a small bowl.
- Serve wontons hot with dipping sauce and garnish with extra scallions.
Notes
- Make sure wontons are sealed tightly to prevent filling from leaking during frying.
- Can be prepared ahead and frozen; fry directly from frozen, adding an extra minute of cooking time.
- Serve immediately for maximum crispiness.
