Description

This luscious mango mousse is light, airy, and packed with tropical flavor. Made from ripe mangoes and whipped cream, it’s a refreshing summer dessert topped with juicy mango cubes and a sprig of mint for an elegant finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Extra mango cubes and mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Blend mango cubes into a smooth puree. Set aside 2 tablespoons of puree for garnish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rest of the mango puree with sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. In another chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mango mixture until well combined and fluffy.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
  6. Chill for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Before serving, top with reserved mango cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • Use ripe, sweet mangoes for best flavor and texture.
  • You can substitute condensed milk with sugar to taste if desired.
  • For a firmer mousse, add 1 tsp gelatin dissolved in warm water before folding in the whipped cream.
