- 12–16 Oreo cookies
- 1 (9 oz) bag mini milk chocolate eggs
- 1 (10 oz) bag dark chocolate melting wafers
- 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the Chocolate – Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until it’s smooth and dreamy.
- Coat the Oreos – Drop an Oreo into the chocolate, flip it around with a fork, and coat it completely. Then, tap the fork on the bowl to let excess chocolate drip off.
- Assemble the nests – Place the cookie on the parchment, sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles, and nestle 2-3 mini eggs on top.
- Chill – Pop the tray in the freezer for about 30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
- Use a fork to coat and lift Oreos to allow excess chocolate to drip off for a cleaner finish.
- Freezing helps the chocolate harden quickly and keeps the candy eggs in place.
