Description

This Cherry Limeade is a refreshing, sweet-tart drink made with frozen cherries, fresh lime juice, and a hint of sugar. Perfect for summer days, it can be served frozen or topped with sparkling water for a fizzy twist!

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 lime, quartered
▢ 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
▢ 1 (12-ounce) bag frozen sweet cherries
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 cups ice
▢ Club soda or sparkling water, optional (for topping)
▢ Lime wheels and/or cherries, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add frozen cherries, lime juice, sugar, water, ice, and lime quarters to a blender. Blend until smooth.

  • Divide the cherry limeade between glasses.

  • Optionally, top each glass with a splash of sparkling water or club soda for a fizzy finish.

  • Garnish with a lime wheel or cherry and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.

  • For a frozen slushie version, omit the sparkling water.

  • Can be turned into a cocktail with a splash of vodka or rum.
