Description
Golden-baked dough knots filled with melty cheese and brushed with a rich garlic butter sauce, then sprinkled with Parmesan and fresh herbs. Irresistibly fluffy and flavorful, perfect as a side or appetizer.

- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough or homemade dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and cut into strips.
- Place a bit of mozzarella in the center of each strip, roll and twist into knots, tucking ends underneath.
- Place knots on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic, herbs, salt, and a tablespoon of Parmesan.
- Brush each knot generously with the garlic butter.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from oven, brush again with remaining garlic butter, and sprinkle with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
- Serve warm with marinara or dipping sauce of choice.
Notes
- Use homemade dough for extra flavor and texture.
- Best served fresh, but can be reheated in the oven.
- Try adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
