Description

Soft pizza dough spirals filled with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and tangy pickles, topped with a sprinkle of Parmesan and fresh herbs for the ultimate savory snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned. Remove from heat.
  3. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick. Spread pizza sauce over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle with mozzarella, cheddar, cooked beef, and pickles.
  5. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side and slice into 1-inch rolls.
  6. Place rolls cut side up on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For added spice, mix some crushed red pepper into the beef or sauce.
  • Use store-bought or homemade pizza dough.
