Description

Crispy mini phyllo cups filled with gooey brie, sweet blackberry preserves, and fresh blackberries—finished with a touch of thyme for an elegant, bite-sized appetizer or dessert.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 package (15-count) mini phyllo cups
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup blackberry preserves
  • 15 fresh blackberries
  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and arrange phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
  2. Place one cube of brie into each phyllo cup.
  3. Add a small dollop (about 1/2 teaspoon) of blackberry preserves over the cheese.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the brie is melted and the phyllo edges are golden.
  5. Remove from oven and top each with a fresh blackberry and a few thyme leaves.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature as a sweet-savory appetizer.

Notes

  • For a nutty twist, add a sprinkle of chopped pecans or walnuts before baking.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated for 2–3 minutes in the oven before serving.
  • Substitute raspberry preserves and berries for a different flavor profile.
