Description

A nutritious and refreshing banana split makeover using Greek yogurt, fresh berries, granola, and almond butter—ideal for a wholesome breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 ripe banana, halved lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/4 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup blackberries
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • Honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Place the banana halves in a shallow bowl, cut side facing up.
  2. Spoon the Greek yogurt over the center of the bananas.
  3. Top with fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
  4. Sprinkle granola evenly over the fruit and yogurt.
  5. Drizzle almond butter on top. Warm it slightly if needed to achieve a smooth drizzle.
  6. Add a light drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use dairy-free yogurt for a vegan version.
  • Try different nut butters like cashew or hazelnut for variety.
  • Best served immediately to keep the granola crunchy.
