Description

Creamy, gooey baked Brie infused with sweet honey, roasted garlic, and aromatic rosemary—this warm, indulgent appetizer is a simple yet elegant showpiece for any holiday table or cozy night in with wine and crusty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 12 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 12 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional)
  • Sea salt flakes to finish
  • Crackers, crostini, or baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish or tray with parchment paper.
  2. Unwrap the Brie and place it on the prepared baking surface. Score the top of the rind in a crisscross pattern.
  3. Drizzle honey over the top of the cheese. Tuck in garlic slices and rosemary leaves. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  4. Bake for 15–18 minutes until soft and gooey in the center.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and serve immediately with toasted bread or crackers.

Notes

  • Brie can also be wrapped in puff pastry before baking for extra indulgence.
  • Try adding chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans on top.
  • Best served warm straight from the oven.
